Vintage B.W.C. Suisse Manual Wind Wristwatch – c.1940s – 15J – Working Description: A handsome vintage Swiss wristwatch by B.W.C. (Buttes Watch Co.), dating to approximately the 1940s. This classic piece features a manual wind movement with subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and retains a beautifully aged dial with attractive patina, giving it plenty of period character. The watch is currently running well and presents nicely on the wrist. It has been fitted with a new black leather strap and is supplied in a Bowles Ltd watch gift box, making it ideal as a gift or for a vintage watch collection. Key Details: Maker: B.W.C. This item did not arrive by promised delivery date ie 7-8th November. I needed this item by 14th November at the latest , as I had planned to take this with me as I was going away and planning to wear it. However,I received a message at long last on Friday informing me my parcel had been dispatched from Yorkshire dispatch hub. Delivery date now tomorrow Monday 17th November. Too late now for me,if it even arrives. Seller very understanding. Will return parcel in post if I receive it.
This seller must have a degree in how to package up a delivery. It had multiple layers of protection for its journey through the post and reasonably good postage cost. It was delivered fast and in excellent condition and is exactly as described. It was a great value buy, and of the thousands of things I have had delivered over the years, this was the most professional and safe packing I have ever seen. BRAVO 👏 👏 👏
Fast postage and good packaging, exactly as described, i love this watch, seems to tick over beautifully, I really love the details on the face, very nice, I'm really happy with it, good value for money and this seller gave me a bargain, once its been serviced it will be a very fine example in my humble opinion.
