Description
This book cover was mine when I was in high school. I was born and raised in Chile, and this dates from the early 60’s. It depicts typical Chilean scenes, like the national dance, the Cueca, snow-capped Andes mountains that are the backbone of Chile from north to south, and the national flower, the bell-shaped Copihue. On the top right I signed my name “Maggie” and initials “M.G.F”. It looks like I scribbled some numbers in two other places, barely visible but nevertheless they are there and as far as I know have no historical significance 😀. This was hand made by an artisan craftsman. It is made with good genuine leather and tooled by hand. I hate to part with this, but I have no descendants, so hopefully it will go to someone to whom Chile has some meaning. I ship free within the USA on the same day as receiving payment, using recycled packaging materials whenever possible. Please note, I am an individual seller and though I strive to avoid errors I do sometimes make them. I always wish to correct any mistake or miscommunication as best as possible.
