This retro vase features an amber bowl section and circular donut shape middle section on the glass stem. Most of these vases were made in Italy in the Empoli region, however this tall vase is unmarked. A mid century tall Empoli style glass footed vase. This retro vase features an amber bowl section and circular donut shape middle section on the glass stem. The top section is ribbed or paneled amber glass. Just before the the base area of the amber bowl section, it cuts in. These different diameter sections on the top and the circular section in the glass stem give this vintage footed vase a distinct shape. There is a pontil on the underside of the base typical of hand blown glass. This type of footed glass vase was popular as a home decor item in the midcentury. Most of these vases were made in Italy in the Empoli region, however this tall vase is unmarked. No chips or cracks. In great condition. Original Mid Century Colors and shapes. A beautiful compote.
