Description

Offered here is a rare and collectible pair of vintage FootJoy wingtip golf shoes , size 11.5 D , proudly Made in the USA . These two-tone leather classics feature bold red pebble-grain panels contrasted with deep blue smooth leather, full brogue detailing, and new soft spikes. These shoes were crafted during the golden era of FootJoy manufacturing, when every pair was hand-finished in their Brockton, Massachusetts facility. That factory closed in 2008, marking the end of U.S.-made FootJoy footwear — making surviving pairs like these truly scarce. FootJoy has long been considered the gold standard in golf footwear, worn by legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Payne Stewart . Vintage USA-made FootJoys are highly sought after by collectors and golfers who appreciate their superior craftsmanship, premium leather, and timeless style. With the supply permanently capped, values for well-preserved examples are only expected to rise. Condition : Very good vintage condition overall. The uppers are supple and retain rich color. There is a small rip in the heel counter (photographed) that has been sealed with cement and clear tape for stability, but it will need a proper repair for long-term wear. Spikes and soles are in excellent shape. The leather quality, hand-finishing, and Goodyear welt construction made them not only high-performance on the course but also durable enough to last decades. With production moved overseas and the U.S. factory gone, vintage models like these represent a piece of golf history — both wearable and highly collectible.
