This is a 0519P Hall Basket Teapot. It is 6 cup teapot. It was one of the six Novelty teapots that includes Doughnut, Automobile, Birdcage, Football and Basketball teapots produced from 1930 to 1940. The Basket teapot was produced from 1938 to 1941. It is rare to find such a teapot. There are two tiny spots of paint wear on the underside tip of the spout. There is scuffing & pot marks due to production and age. There is a little wear on the platinum trim. This is in really good condition considering the age & scarcity of these teapots. There are no chips or cracks or crackling or grazing on this piece. This is part of my teapot collection and was kept in my hutch for decades. Shipping and packaging was good. There was still salt and pepper in the shakers, so that’s the only negative. It would have been nice if they had been empty and clean.
