Description

Oh dear - our little bumblebee boy was caught in the rain. But thank God he has his umbrella with him and can take a break, well protected from the raindrops. He holds the umbrella tightly in his hand. He is probably watching the raindrops hit the ground and form puddles. And who knows? Maybe a big, colorful rainbow will be waiting for our little friend after the shower? The large size was redesigned in 1972 with a thinner umbrella and a new finish. In older models, the handle of the umbrella is connected to the left shoe. The small size was first produced in 1954. The companion figurine is "Umbrella Girl" (HUM 152/B/II) was designed a few years later. Sculptor: Arthur Möller Sculpted: 1942 Well prepared for the bad weather - our little bumblebee girl has pulled her red umbrella high over her head to avoid getting wet. Well protected, she is waiting for the storm to pass and the sun to come out again. But watch out, little brave girl - your feet have to be under the umbrella too if you don't want wet socks. Seven years after the figure (HUM 152 A 2/0), the female figure was also modelled: in 1949, Arthur Möller breathed life into the little girl under the umbrella. The large size was redesigned in 1972 with a thinner umbrella and a new finish. A similar motif with an umbrella can be found in the figure (HUM 408/I). Here, a bumblebee girl is also waiting for the rain to stop. Until then, the young lady makes herself comfortable by the side of the road. "Umbrella Boy (HUM 152/II/A) is her companion.
