Item: Vintage late 1970s J.C. Penney The Fox Collection bomber jacket Size: Medium Color: Steel / navy blue suede Origin: Made in Korea (WPL 5924) Material: Genuine leather suede shell | Acrylic sherpa lining | Acrylic knit trim | Nylon sleeves Era: Late 1970s – early 1980s Very good vintage condition for age (~45 years old). Leather is soft and supple with minor vintage patina and light fading consistent with blue suede of the era. Sherpa lining is clean and intact, knit cuffs and hem have minimal wear. Zipper and buckle function smoothly. No tears or major stains. The Fox Collection was a J.C. Penney private-label line sold in the late 1970s through early 1980s, known for its quality leather outerwear made in Korea before production shifted to China. This piece represents classic aviator design from that period and remains a collectible example of American department-store heritage leatherwear. See pics for accurate measurements
Item showed up mostly as described. It did come with a few minor holes on the lining that I wish was mentioned, but it shouldn’t affect wearability/use. Packaging and shipping were otherwise perfect—especially as it was purchased during the holiday season. Great value from seller and I would buy again.
