Ankle length Vintage Tweed Coat JOHNSTONS OF ELGIN, Scotland (shown in the 2007/2008 catalogue ) SIZE 10 UK Woven and HAND CUT IN SCOTLAND Please see my accurate measurements below The long "Linnhe" luxury Country Coat (2007/8) recommended for over 5ft 9". as it comes to ankles at 5ft 6" ( This suggested to avoid any Weather residues from catching the hem material) Absolutely beautiful Coat- and as new condition even at over seventeen years old Please see all photos to assist with description. The photo showing a tall, slender model wearing it. As shown this model was advertised in the Johnstons of Elgin 2007 catalogue. Johnstons of Elgin were most helpful to provide this information to me in order to be accurate. Due to enormous amount of the hand woven Tweed it is a heavy but a very elegant Riding Coat with its long, perfectly tailored inserts both front and back - unique kilt-like knife pleats Double-breasted Trench style with optional wide tie belt, pockets, and would suit a tall, slender frame. Slightly padded shoulders for a great design balance Deep tan colour with Windowpane overcheck. Fully Lined In pristine condition even though it has to be listed as "Used" PLEASE match your measurements - especially LENGTH before you consider. Wonderful investment.
