Vintage JUNGHANS German Heavy 2.4kg Solid Brass Mantle Clock in Vgc Full Working order Very quiet tick So heavy !!! Cant believe the weight of this item - nearly 2.4 kg of solid brass (so I’m sorry about the postage cost !) No sure if the exact age of this clock and what sort of mechanism it had originally but there is a label on the HERCHINGER Quartz motor stating ‘Houghton’s jewellers Grantham Lincs 23/8 /2007’ this may well of been the original Quartz ??? There is a serial number stamped on the interior of the brass casing 365/4010 Brass folding handle at top and removable brass rear door Approx Dimensions 17cm tall 12cm wide 7cm depth Rectangular real flat glass front with brass coloured dial face with black Roman numerals and black hour and minute hands Makers mark / name and ‘Made in Germany’ printed on face New 1.5volt battery will be fitted at point of sale.
