This is a set of 90 size 3AG, 8AG and SFE fast acting fuses in 18 vintage Littelfuse metal / plastic tins, themselves contained in a plastic case. Some of the fuses and tins are a bit dirty, dusty, cloudy, scratched and/or shelf-worn from long storage. Others are still bright and shiney. The plastic case has yellowed, is scratched and has some tape residue on it. The top closes properly but does not snap securely shut. Please review the pictures carefully before purchasing. Each individual tin contains 5 fuses: 3AG 1/4 amp, 3AG 3/8 amp, 3AG 1/2 amp (2 tins), 3AG 3/4 amp, 3AG 1 amp, 3AG 2 amp, 3AG 3 amp (2 tins), 3AG 4 amp, 3AG 5 amp, 3AG 8 amp 8AG 1/4 amp, 8AG 1/2 amp, 8AG 1 1/2 amp, 8 AG 5 amp SFE 9 amp, SFE 14 amp Size 3AG fuses are 1/4" by 1 1/4" (or 6.3 x 32mm) and may alternatively be designated as size AGC. Size 8AG fuses are 1/4" by 1" (or 6.3 x 25mm) and may alternatively be designated as size AGX. SFE fuses are 1/4" in diameter and vary in length by their current rating. These fuses are designed to provide precise regulation of current in automotive, industrial, radio and other electronic applications. Many people even keep the handy (but no-longer-made) metal tins with see-through covers after they become empty.
This vintage fuse set is a fantastic find for collectors and DIY enthusiasts! The assortment of 3AG, 8AG, and SFE fuses in classic Littelfuse tins is super handy, and even though some show age, they’re still functional and full of old-school charm. The plastic case has character with its yellowing and scratches, but everything fits neatly inside. Perfect for restoring retro electronics or adding to a vintage toolbox. Great value for the quantity and nostalgia factor!
