Vintage Mini Lindy VW BEETLE Plastic 1:64th Scale Model Volkswagen. This is the #19 Volkswagen Beetle. This one is blue and it has flower decals. The edges on the front and back bumper have broken off. This was common on this particular model. Mini Lindy's are put together by kids (adults). This is a vintage made in the USA Mini Lindy 1:64th scale plastic model made by Lindbergh in the late 1960s' to the 1970s. This is the #19 Volkswagen Beetle. This one is blue and it has flower decals. The edges on the front and back bumper have broken off. This was common on this particular model. Mini Lindy's are put together by kids (adults). Everything is held in place once you screw the 2 screws on the bottom. The interior glass has dropped on this one. I am pretty sure that you can reposition it by unscrewing the base and you take apart the car and then put it back in place correctly and re-screw the screws. Also, it's possible someone out there has a donor car with 2 perfect blue bumpers. Well, you can put those bumpers on this one and remove the ones that broke off. My photos came out dark. The best photo to see the color on this one is the main one where I am holding the car. This blue is slate blue. (Not bright at all.) I will add new photos tomorrow.
