Description
Vintage Murano Glass Venturina Vase Attributed to Venini 1950 Aquamarine Gold 3”. This line of art glass was often designed by Carlo Scarpa or Fulvio Bianconi between 1950 and 1959. MINT CONDITION: Vintage mid-century modern Murano glass vase, attributed to the premier Venini House. The Venturina technique used to make this cabinet vase is characterized by the shimmering inclusions of gold particles within the glass. This line of art glass was often designed by Carlo Scarpa or Fulvio Bianconi between 1950 and 1959. This is a highly-collectible example of the art glass structure. The luxurious aquamarine color highlights the gold swirl beautifully. The two Greco handles are perfectly aligned and attached by hand. NOTE: There is a maker’s tool mark which starts below the rim and extends about an inch. It is imperceptible on display and the only textured section is a slight dimple below the rim. This is not a crack. The entire length has no texture. Please see photos. There are no rough patches or points except for some remaining glass at the pontil. Vase measures 3-1/8” tall at top of vessel, 4-3/4” tall at top of handles, and the foot is 2” in diameter.
