This rectangular butter dish with lid holds one stick of butter. Features the standard Village brown folk-art pattern on tan/cream background. Details: • Pattern: Village • Model: #6-28 • Backstamp: Original castle mark (early production) • Size: Approximately 8.25” long x 4.25” wide x 3.5” high • Material: Stoneware Condition: Excellent vintage condition. One tiny, tiny chip on the bottom edge of the lid (see last picture). No crazing or other damage. Discontinued pattern. The castle backstamp indicates early production (late 1970s).
