This is a beautiful old flat-top Ritrie fountain pen. Although the clip is missing and you can see a couple of holes where it used to be, the pen is in excellent condition. It is most likely from the thirties. The nib, however, is a new replacement, making this an instrument that is a joy to write with.
This pen is perfect! The peach wood handle is pretty neat! Reasonably priced, exactly as shown. Shipping was good, it showed up early. The seller did an amazing job packaging the product(s)! The pens were all in little plastic sleeves and wrapped up in bubblewrap. Then extra bubblewrap was used to fill the box. The box was heavily taped. Perfect! Thank you so, so much!
The fountain pens were shipped fast and packed well. This blue Esterbrook SJ was another beautiful pen shipped with two others purchased at the same time. The plastic pen cases added to the protection and were a nice touch. The SJ was as described and represented a good value. Communication with the seller was good. I would purchase from this seller again.
