I am so excited to be able to offer you a gorgeous vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Ref.1601 men's automatic watch. Black dial has been refurbished / repainted professionally and looks so handsome and smart. Refurbished on original Rolex dial The stainless steel Oyster case, screw down caseback, white gold fluted bezel and crystal are all in good condition for its age. The dial is fitted with gold hands and a date window at 3 o'clock position which is a great asset to this vintage. The robust 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a screw down Rolex crown and Rolex Jubilee bracelet have remained in good condition with general wear but no significant damage. In fully working order- runs strong and tells good time, powered by a reliable Rolex 1570 movement with 26 jewels. Reference and serial numbers are both sharp and strong. Serial number 199**** says it dates to 1969. The original Rolex stainless steel Jubilee bracelet will fit up to 7 inches wrist. It was serviced by my watchmaker 2025 January.
