Description and Condition This vintage Southwestern-style Kilim features a vibrant, multi-banded composition with a series of bold diamond medallions. The design is organized into alternating horizontal panels of deep rust-red and sky blue, each containing two intricately patterned geometric diamonds in a palette of turquoise, cream, and lavender. These primary sections are separated by thin, rhythmic stripes of forest green, mauve, and teal, which add a high-contrast, energetic feel to the overall textile. Measuring 147 x 67 cm (4'10" x 2'2"), the Kilim is in excellent vintage condition. The handwoven wool foundation is tight and structurally sound, with no visible areas of thinning or significant wear. The dyes remain remarkably bright and saturated, showcasing the enduring quality of the original materials.
