Vintage USMS Merchant Marine Pea Coat 40R – Black Wool, Brass Buttons, 1980s-90s Original U.S. Merchant Marine Service pea coat, size 40R, made of heavy black wool. Features authentic brass USMS buttons (3 present out of original 6). Double-breasted style. Estimated production late 1980s–1990s (NSN 8405-01-154-5789). Condition: Used. Lining has separated at underarm seams (see photos). Missing 3 original brass buttons. Still a collectible piece, rarer than standard US Navy pea coats. Great for collectors, restoration, or display.
