Authentic Vintage Watt Pottery #96 Advertising Bowl - Almena, Wisconsin Brand: Watt Pottery (Crooksville, Ohio) Pattern: Apple (3-Leaf) Model Number: #96 Origin: Made in USA Era: 1950s (Introduced in 1952) This is a beautiful example of mid-century "Oven Ware" from the famous Watt Pottery company. Hand-painted in the iconic 3-Leaf Apple pattern, this bowl served as a promotional piece for the Almena Co-Op Assn. in Almena, Wis. Local History: The interior features the crisp advertising stamp: "Compliments of Almena Co-Op Assn. Almena, Wis." This makes it a fantastic cross-collectible for both pottery enthusiasts and Wisconsin history buffs. Authentic Markings: The base is embossed with the official Watt mark: "96 Watt Oven Ware U.S.A." Hand-Painted Artistry: Features the vibrant red apple and three green leaves that were a hallmark of Watt’s 1950s production. Dimensions: Approximately 8.5" in diameter and 2.75" high. Condition: Excellent vintage condition for its age. As is common with handmade 1950s pottery, there is some light crazing in the glaze which adds to its authentic character. No major chips or cracks.
