Supposedly, this piece was modeled from Queen Victoria's hands. From the 1950's ..... My Grandmother always has hers on display - filled with various candy....The open hands are embellished with grapes and leaves, beautifially detailed. I am amazed at the EXCELLENT CONDITION of this gorgeous dish, considering it's age. It is pure white, milk glass. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bites. This piece measures 7.5" X 5 5/8". This dish could be used for candy, nuts, soaps, business cards, etc. or just displayed in the bedroom or bathroom. Nice dish and it fits in nicely with other pieces of this pattern in my kitchen. It was described accurately and it was wrapped perfectly for safe delivery. This dish came from a very good dealer.
