Vintage/antique Carved Soapstone On Base.. This vintage/antique carved soapstone figurine depicts a bird and floral design. This was bought at an estate auction in the mid 1970s. At that time we were told it was an antique Chinese carving. The piece is approx 5 inches base to top of carving, 4 inches across at the wides carving and weighs approx 13.9oz.
