Stunning limited edition Waltham Legends of Baseball Babe Ruth watch, in original wooden bat case! Celebrating the 100th anniversary of one of baseball's superstar legends (the Babe was born in 1895), this stunning collector's piece comes complete with original paperwork from Waltham and a Babe Ruth Career Summary. Manufactured in 1995, this beauty is one of an unnumbered series. The watch features a black and white photo of George Herman Ruth Jr., looking skyward after smacking in yet another home run! "100th Anniversary" is written across the underside of the crystal for a three dimensional effect. Watch is running strong with a fresh battery just professionally placed, and ships in its original wooden bat watch case and original outer box. Please note that outer box has damage to the lid, some tearing that were taped over, and the box itself sees fragile from age. The watch itself is in mint, unworn condition with original tags still attached. I do love the watch. The watch itself is exactly as described, with good packaging and the shipping was very fast. Unfortunately, when I took it out of the packaging, the band started to flake. It's pretty obvious that it had never been treated, which to me deminishes the description of 'New.' I notified the seller, but never heard back from them.
Product was well packaged in a box, with glasses each protected in their own sleeves, and arrived quickly. Seller was quick to respond to requests. So much better than the other seller I bought from. Buy your glasses here to get them in good condition!
