Add these stylish authentic American Whiting 925 sterling silver classic beaded mid-century modern coasters in a stupendous full set of 12 to any setting in which you wish to add a timeless touch of American game bird aesthetic. Every single one in the collection is here. There are twelve unique and scarce game bird hunt themed designs with gleaming sterling rims that will make a stunning showpiece for display or use. There are minimal light age related dings and light bends in places due to their malleable nature and period status, c1940, but nothing that takes from their elevated appearance. The fine color illustration by British-American nature artist Dennis Puleston (1905-2001) is hand applied to China which is in superb condition with no cracks. This is a worthy rare vintage MCM example to enjoy and delight. The coasters stack nicely and look sharp. Bear in mind that these are period objects and not brand new but are marvelous surviving examples from an elegant era in American design and culture. Made by Whiting, these 4.5” coasters are clearly marked Frank M. Whiting & Co Sterling to rim base verso. Lightly hand polished.
