Description The Fender American Vintage Series '62 Stratocaster Thin Lacquer is a model that reproduces the charm of the 1962 Stratocaster. The alder body is finished with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish to maximize the natural sound of the wood. The combination of a slab-laminated rosewood fingerboard and maple neck provides a warm, rich tone, and the 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and vintage-style frets provide a classic playing feel. In addition, it is equipped with three Fender American Vintage single-coil pickups that faithfully reproduce the traditional Stratocaster sound. The truss rod is in working order and the neck is in good condition. The frets have been filed down to a perfect shape, but about 95% of the height remains, so you can play with a feeling close to when it was new.
