For sale is a gorgeous vintage hand-painted Talavera pottery miniature chocolate/coffee set, made in Mexico. Authentic Talavera from the Puebla/Tlaxcala region in the classic cobalt blue and multicolored pattern. Set includes: ✓ Lidded chocolate pot (chocolatero) with spout – 8” tall ✓ Two-handled sugar bowl – 3” tall ✓ Two matching saucers – 4.75” diameter each All pieces marked on the bottom “LEAD FREE MEX.” in underglaze ink – dating it to the early 2000s when Mexican potters began complying with U.S. lead standards. 100% lead-free and safe for serving food/beverages. Condition is excellent – no chips, cracks, or repairs. Bright colors, minimal crazing, glossy glaze. This exact pattern and size combination with the sugar bowl is getting very hard to find. Perfect for collectors of Mexican folk art, Talavera completists, or as a unique display piece. Looks stunning on a kitchen shelf or in a china cabinet. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. I am very happy with this lot of quartz watches, and I think they will prove to be a good buy. They are in very nice used condition as described and represent a varied assortment of styles.
