The pages are generally excellent, only lightly tanned by age, and slightly glossy. There is little to no foxing. You are bidding on ANTIQUITIES OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH-EASTERN MISSOURI by Gerard Fowke, published in 1910 in Washington by the Government Printing Office. This was the 'Smithsonian Institution Bureau of American Ethnology Bulletin 37'. There are many photos and illustrations, and a fold-out map of 'Archaeological Sites in Missouri' (see pics). The covers are good but have some light wear and a few blemishes. The pages are generally excellent, only lightly tanned by age, and slightly glossy. There is little to no foxing. Excepting the map, the plates are on heavier stock, at least semi-glossy. Plate 13 has come loose from the spine. The book has vii + 116 numbered pages, including Index and 20 Figures, plus 19 Plates. It measures approximately 9½" by 6".
